SPOT checks on undergraduate theses and design projects for the 2023-2024 academic year at Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (SMBU)reported a 100% pass rate for all seven randomly selected undergraduate theses on the national spot-check information platform, according to the expert review results released in a recent notice by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education.

Notably, no problematic theses were identified, making the Longgang-based university one of only seven undergraduate institutions in Guangdong Province to have a flawless pass record in this round of inspections.

Since first participating in the national thesis spot check in 2022, SMBU has maintained a perfect 100% pass rate for three consecutive years. This achievement is a statement to the university’s solid teaching quality and robust ability to nurture talent.

SMBU plans to continue advancing the scientific and meticulous management of undergraduate theses and design projects, aiming to further enhance students’ fundamental academic literacy and steadily improve the overall quality of talent cultivation.
