THE Longhua District Government has enhanced its international services by transforming its official website into a comprehensive digital portal that integrates one-stop smart governance and multilingual content.

This portal was launched by the Longhua District Government Service and Data Administration during an open day event held at the Longhua International Cooperation Center on Friday.

The upgraded portal, now available in Chinese, English, French, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean, features smart applications such as an AI-assisted chatbot and a digital policy database. It offers an integrated display of government information and one-stop access to government services, enhancing the user experience and international accessibility.

In addition to the portal, the administration has been actively exploring tailored solutions to meet the needs of expat residents. In April, it launched an English-language service zone within the Longhua section of the “iShenzhen” app.

Also during the event, the administration announced that inpatient coverage for 22 designated special outpatient diseases will be added to the current list of government services enjoying streamlined application and approval processes. The initiative is expected to gradually expand to include outpatient services for these conditions by next year.

Since 2021, Longhua District has taken the lead in Shenzhen by pioneering a reform that streamlines government services and improves the efficiency of subsidy delivery.

To date, five batches of service lists have been released, covering over 100 items across six key areas, including enterprise support and talent assistance.

The reform has delivered more than 2 billion yuan (US$279 million) in policy benefits, making it the provincial leader in terms of the number of service items, total subsidy amount, policy coverage, and number of beneficiaries.
