BYD’s car carrier, the “BYD Shenzhen” — the world’s largest car carrier ship — docks at Xiaomo International Logistics Port in Shenzhen yesterday. The ship departed from the port yesterday evening, carrying more than 6,800 BYD electric vehicles to Europe. On Monday, it returned to the port after completing its maiden transoceanic voyage to Brazil, which lasted 70 days and covered over 30,000 kilometers. Measuring 219.9 meters in length and 37.7 meters in width — an area equivalent to 20 soccer fields, the ship has 12 decks and can carry up to 9,200 vehicles.
