THE Nanshan International Cultural Exchange & Service Center (NSIC) in Zhaoshang Subdistrict, Nanshan District, partnered with Shenzhen-based Zhiheng Law Firm last week to host a seminar addressing employment issues for international workers in China.

Under the guidance and interpretation of lawyer Hua Junli, director of the law firm’s foreign-related legal center, Chinese and international attendees were divided into groups to discuss key topics such as social security payment, part-time employment, and labor contracts.

The participants, which included self-employed individuals, international students, and human resources professionals specializing in international HR, asked questions and shared their experiences. Hua provided detailed explanations in response.

According to the NSIC, the seminar was designed to offer targeted legal assistance to international workers in China and enhance their awareness of legal issues, improve Zhaoshang’s international business environment, and attract more international talent and companies to the subdistrict.
