Walker S2 swaps its own battery without powering down
    2025-07-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

UBTECH’S Walker S2 humanoid robot swaps its own battery in this photo released Thursday. On the same day, the Shenzhen-based company announced that it had achieved the world’s first hot-swap, fully autonomous battery-replacement system for humanoid robots. Without needing to power down, Walker S2 can swap a depleted battery for a charged one in just three minutes, allowing the robot to operate 24/7. The new tech will slash downtime and maintenance costs.   Courtesy of UBTECH
