‘The First Date’

Get ready for a hilarious, heartwarming first date! Broadway Moscow presents the Russian version of the hit Broadway musical “The First Date.” Originally created by “Gossip Girl” creator Austin Winsberg and Disney composers Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, the musical centers on a blind date between an uptight businessman and a fun-loving, quirky artist.

‘The Face of Chiang Kai-shek’

The drama is set in 1943, when Chiang Kai-shek was president of the Nanjing University. He invited three professors to dinner, putting them in an awkward position — whether to attend or decline became a difficult dilemma. Later, in 1967, the three professors were investigated because of this event. Each of them had different recollections about whether they had actually attended the dinner.

‘Uncle Vanya’

Chekhov’s classic drama explores the frustrations and unfulfilled desires of rural Russian intellectuals facing wasted lives and unrequited love. Rimas Tuminas’ reinterpretation strips away traditional conventions, presenting a passionate battleground of colliding hopes and ambitions.

‘The Story of the Stone’

From the perspective of Baoyu, the protagonist of Cao Xueqin’s “Dream of the Red Chamber,” this musical reconstructs and retells the masterpiece while exploring themes of identity and self-discovery. The production features stunning Oriental aesthetics, blending reality and fantasy on stage.
