    2025-07-25  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A Russian Antonov An-24 passenger plane carrying around 50 people crashed in the country’s Far East on Thursday. The Chinese Consulate General in Khabarovsk confirmed that one Chinese citizen was on board. Russian authorities have launched a full-scale search and rescue operation, but no survivors have been found so far. The aircraft was flying from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda, a remote town and key railway junction in the Amur region bordering China. The plane disappeared from radar while preparing to land
