FIVE companies from Bao’an District have secured spots on the recently released 2025 Fortune China 500 list — SF Holding (93rd), Luxshare Precision (103rd), Sunwoda Electronics (299th), Avary Holding (397th), and GEM Co. Ltd. (411th). While the number of Bao’an-based companies remains unchanged from last year, all five firms have climbed significantly in the rankings, with improvements of 16, 30, 33, 40, and 43 places, respectively. This year’s 500 listed companies reported total revenues of US$14.2 trillion in 2024, a 2.7% decline compared to the previous year. However, net profits rose by 7% year-on-year to US$756.4 billion. The minimum revenue threshold for entry was approximately US$3.62 billion, down 3% from 2023. Notably, the combined revenue of these 500 companies accounted for about three-quarters of China’s 2024 GDP, which reached US$18.94 trillion, based on the average exchange rate in 2024.
