SHAJING Kingkey Banner Center, a shopping mall in Bao’an, has converted a once-idle rooftop into a vibrant 500-square-meter pet playground, welcoming its first furry guests and their owners on the evening of July 26.

Located on the mall’s seventh floor, the space features amenities such as tethering areas, play structures, and artificial turf for pets and shaded lounges for pet owners.

This pet paradise was created to further the mall’s pet-friendly vision. Since announcing its “Pet-Friendly Mall” policy in August 2023, the mall has evolved from basic access to curated experiences, fostering deeper human-pet connections.(Wang Jingli)
