THE Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) presented the city’s green innovation practices at a weekend seminar in Bangkok. The event celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China and bilateral regional development cooperation. The event was organized by the Program Management Unit on Area-based Development (PMUA) under Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
In a speech, a representative of the center highlighted Shenzhen’s green development and the center’s practical experience in promoting green technology transfer and investment cooperation.
At the seminar, the center signed a memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with PMUA, Khon Kaen University’s Business School, and SMART Consulting and Development Co. Ltd. to establish a low‑carbon technology platform that will showcase Chinese innovations. It signed another MoU with Shenzhen Solartech Renewable Energy Co. Ltd. and Chiang Mai University to cooperate on photovoltaic water‑pumping and biochar technologies. (Han Ximin) |
