A mass parade is held at Potala Palace Square in Lhasa, capital of the Xizang Autonomous Region, on Thursday as part of a grand celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the region. Around 20,000 people from diverse ethnic groups and walks of life joined the festivities.
