ON July 27, CCTV-13 featured a report titled “Smart life, the future is coming: Sanitation robots on duty cleaning over 8,000 sqm per hour.” The report highlighted Yantian-based Auto City, an autonomous driving technology company, showcasing how its independently developed intelligent sanitation robots are revolutionizing urban cleaning and contributing a “Yantian solution” to smart city development across China.

In Shenzhen, more than 100 intelligent robots from Yantian-based enterprises have been deployed throughout the city’s sanitation system. Equipped with precise trash identification, pollution forecasting, and collaborative multi-robot coordination, they operate with exceptional efficiency and endurance — cleaning over 8,000 square meters (equivalent to seven standard swimming pools) every hour and running for up to eight hours on a single charge.

So far, Auto City’s sweeping robots have been deployed in over 20 cities nationwide, providing smart solutions for more than 30 traditional sanitation projects and servicing over 60 million square meters of total area.
