SHENZHEN’S first flagship robot experience center has opened at the Uniworld shopping mall in Longhua District, offering visitors hands-on interaction with cutting-edge robotic technology. The center, called Yuxinqi Robot Experience Center (宇新奇机器人体验馆), aims to provide an immersive glimpse into futuristic tech for enthusiasts, families and the general public. Remember the humanoid robots dressed in traditional floral coats and waving red handkerchiefs during the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala? At the experience center, visitors can get up close with these popular robots from Unitree, as well as the robotic company’s cool quadruped robot dogs. Unlike conventional exhibitions, the center allows visitors to interact directly with advanced robots instead of observing them behind glass. Key attractions include a bipedal robot zone, where guests can watch the machines walk and turn, and even try giving simple commands under professional guidance. Another highlight is the quadruped robot dogs, which visitors can control via remote handles to make it run, jump, or roll. Augmented reality (AR) technology also plays a major role — using lightweight headsets and spatial tracking, guests can enter a mixed-reality world, play interactive games, or summon virtual robot companions. For chess lovers, AI-powered robot opponents are available for games like chess, Go, and Chinese chess, catering to players of various skill levels. Additionally, an exoskeleton demo zone lets visitors test wearable assistive devices designed to aid climbing and reduce physical strain. Visitors can directly buy the tickets at the center.
