CHINA will trial a visa‑free policy for Russian citizens holding ordinary passports from Sept. 15, 2025 to Sept. 14, 2026, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced yesterday. Under the policy, Russian nationals with ordinary passports traveling to China for business, tourism, family visits, exchanges, or transit for up to 30 days may enter without a visa, spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press briefing in Beijing. “China attaches great importance to facilitating people‑to‑people exchanges between the two countries and supports strengthening bilateral ties,” Guo added. “We welcome more Russian friends to visit China more often.” (Xinhua) |
