Tesla price cut

TESLA has reduced the price of the rear‑wheel‑drive version of its Model 3 Long Range in China less than a month after its launch. The model, introduced Aug. 12, is now listed at 259,500 yuan (US$36,390), down from 269,500 yuan, according to Tesla’s China website.

Hengrui’s new drugs

HENGRUI Pharmaceuticals, China’s most valuable publicly listed drugmaker, said regulators have granted conditional approval for its class‑1 innovative hematological cancer drug Zemetostat, marking the country’s first domestically developed EZH2 inhibitor. Hengrui also announced that regulators have accepted for review its marketing application for an innovative weight‑management drug.

Honor releases foldable in Europe

HONOR has launched an overseas edition of its Magic V5 foldable smartphone in Europe, which went on sale Aug. 28. The device features an ultra‑slim design, enhanced on‑device AI capabilities and cross‑device integration. It includes what Honor calls the industry’s first on‑device large speech model and on‑device AI real‑time call translation, supporting Chinese, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
