Chinese actress Xin Zhilei holds the trophy after winning the Best Actress award at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on Saturday for her heart‑wrenching performance in Guangdong-produced film “The Sun Rises on Us All.” The film, known in Chinese as “Ri Gua Zhong Tian,” tells a tragic love story of former lovers entangled by fate and unable to find redemption.
