Apple’s foldable may arrive in 2026

APPLE is in talks with Taiwanese suppliers about test-producing foldable iPhones, with plans to begin mass production in India and launch the device in 2026, according to Nikkei. The company reportedly aims to produce around 95 million iPhones in its 2026 lineup, up over 10% from this year. Sources told Nikkei that Apple sees the introduction of a foldable model as important for meeting these production targets.

Suppliers are considering a site in China’s Taiwan for a pilot production line to test equipment and manufacturing processes. If successful, the manufacturing process would be replicated in India for larger-scale output.

Flying car collision

Xpeng Aeroht confirmed Tuesday that the accident was caused due to insufficient flight distance of the two vehicles. One landed safely, while the other caught fire upon landing. Video footage showed smoke and firetrucks at the scene, with authorities now investigating the cause.
