THE Pingshan Exhibition Gallery is currently hosting three engaging exhibitions, each offering unique experiences across different artistic styles and themes.

‘Digital Aquarium’

“Digital Aquarium” is the first installment of the “Digital Archipelagos” series, presented at the gallery’s PSEG Digital Hall. The exhibition features AI-generated art, behavioral installations, and interactive visuals across mixed media. Using the fish tank as a metaphor, screens and projection-covered walls become aquatic enclosures while videos, light and shadow mimic liquid and movement, blending technology and art.

The exhibition explores how digital art redefines concepts of embodiment and multi-sensory experience. Works by 26 international artists and groups invite visitors to reflect on the relationships between nature, humankind, and technology.

‘Extreme Climbing’

Inspired by a documentary about the north slope of Mount Qomolangma (Mount Everest), this exhibition offers an intense VR experience. Don VR goggles to hear gusting winds and feel as if you are standing on ice ladders and in the footprints of earlier climbers. The show also includes photographs of the mountain’s dramatic landscapes, historical images marking the 50th anniversary of China’s measurement of Everest’s height, and records of Shenzhen climbers who have reached the summit.

‘Cute Pet Planet’

This charming, pet-themed exhibition brings together heartwarming artworks by Japanese illustrator Kondo Tatsuya and creations from 90 young Chinese illustrators. Their static illustrations and dynamic digital pieces explore the subtle yet profound bonds between humans and pets. Designed as an artistic wonderland for children, it also offers a soothing, relaxing atmosphere for adults.
