LOOKING for a short escape from a hectic work or study schedule before the National Day holiday? A candlelight concert might just be what you need.

The European Chamber Music (ECM), a chamber ensemble comprised of six excellent young musicians from Europe whose candlelight concert in Shenzhen this May received wide acclaims, will take the stage at the Nanshan Culture and Sports Center Theater with another candlelight concert on Sunday evening.

Since making its Chinese debut in 2024, the ECM has received widespread acclaim, having toured cities across the country.

In the soft glow of candlelight, the ensemble will perform iconic tunes from “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence,” “The Greatest Showman,” “The Lion King,” “La La Land,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Fast and the Furious,” and more.
