Xpeng expands

into Europe

XPENG Motors said it will launch multiple new models in Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia.

Xpeng has linked arms with Swedish mobility provider Hedin Mobility Group to release the new Xpeng G6 and the G9 in Switzerland, with the two models scheduled to begin production in Europe this quarter, the carmaker has announced. In addition, it plans to launch the P7+ in the first half of 2026.

Xpeng and Hedin will start with the latter's retail location in Dielsdorf and progressively build a sales system covering Switzerland, the Chinese electric car startup noted, adding that seven of Hedin's existing locations will be upgraded to Xpeng brand sales and service centers.

OpenAI introduces Pulse

OPENAI has introduced Pulse, a new ChatGPT feature that delivers daily personalized news, research, and updates.

The service is first available to select paid subscribers, who receive five to 10 visual cards each day with tailored content. Pulse can draw on user preferences and data from Gmail or Google Calendar if linked. According to product lead Adam Fry, the feature is designed to share relevant information without demanding much user attention.

OpenAI plans to expand Pulse beyond its US$200-per-month ChatGPT Pro users later this year, aiming to make the chatbot a daily source of targeted updates.
