Zhang Yu JeniZhang13@163.com SHENZHEN-BASED robotics company UBTECH’s smart logistics subsidiary, UQI, has signed a new contract to supply 30 million yuan (US$4.2 million) worth of its industrial humanoid robots to Miracle Automation Engineering Co. Ltd., the firms announced yesterday. The deal, which calls for the delivery of UBTECH’s Walker S series robots by Dec. 31, 2025, marks another significant step in the partnership between the two firms. Including this new order, UBTECH stated that its Walker series humanoid robots have now secured contracts totaling nearly 430 million yuan. This figure includes an order for 250 million yuan received in September from an unnamed major domestic company, which UBTECH claims is the largest single contract for humanoid robots globally to date. UBTECH has established collaborations with several prominent companies. Its Walker S series is now undergoing practical training in factories worldwide.
