The Shenzhen-based automaker announced Friday that its 14-millionth vehicle rolled off the production line at its factory in Camacari, Brazil, on Thursday, making it the world’s first NEV automaker to reach that figure. The car, a BYD Song Pro, was presented to President Lula as a gift and registered in his name. BYD has operated in Brazil for more than 11 years and serves over 170,000 local customers.
