THE marine art exhibition, “Mapping the Oceanic Frontier: A Deep Blue Vision,” is being held at OCAT Shenzhen in Nanshan District as part of the Shenzhen International Marine Week 2025.

This exhibition, with the ocean as its narrative thread, extends an invitation to an azure journey that blends art and science across dimensions of time and space.

It offers multifaceted insights into the infinite connotations of the deep blue that are related to Shenzhen and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The exhibition opens with an epic oil painting saga of vast territorial waters. Through artists like Fan Di’an, it vividly portrays an epoch’s profound shift towards harnessing the ocean for strength and prosperity.

It also displays masterpieces by some international underwater photographers such as Fred Buyle and Franco Banfi.

Dates: Until Nov. 2

Venue: B1 Hall, OCAT Shenzhen

(深圳OCATB1馆)

Metro: Line 2 to Qiaocheng North (侨城北), Exit B, then walk approximately 1.2 km.
