BAO’AN ranked second in Shenzhen for new registrations of both business entities and individual businesses, according to Bao’an Daily.

From January to August this year, Shenzhen recorded a total of 344,662 newly registered market entities, comprising 228,951 enterprises and 115,711 individual businesses. Among these, Bao’an District registered 41,274 new business entities and 29,556 individual businesses, securing the second-highest number in both categories citywide.

Industry distribution data reveal a dominant concentration in the tertiary sector. Among newly established enterprises, 93.9% were in service-oriented industries. The trend was even more pronounced for individual businesses, with 98.6% belonging to the tertiary sector.

This growth underscores Bao’an’s vibrant business environment and Shenzhen’s economic vitality.
