Chinese nationals holding ordinary passports are now permitted to enter Russia for tourism or business purposes for up to 30 days without a visa. This policy is effective immediately and will remain in place until Sept. 14, 2026, China Central Television News reported yesterday. The exemption specifically applies to tourism and business visits. It explicitly does not cover travel for employment, academic study, long-term residence, or for individuals working as drivers, crew members, freight forwarders, or interpreters in international road transport
