Humanoid robots for Xiaomi factories XIAOMI CEO Lei Jun announced that the company plans to roll out humanoid robots in its factories within five years. Lei highlighted Xiaomi’s automobile plant, where AI-powered inspection systems are already accelerating quality checks of large components. He believes humanoid robots will further automate production lines and boost overall efficiency. Xiaomi is also exploring future applications of these robots in household settings. ZTE phone equipped with Doubao AI BYTEDANCE has partnered with telecom company ZTE to integrate its Doubao AI assistant into a new smartphone prototype. The limited-edition model, named Nubia M153, features the Doubao Mobile Assistant, which supports voice-command tasks such as photo editing, price comparisons, shopping, restaurant bookings, and adding podcasts to playlists.
