Robots await dispatch in the Shanghai factory of AgiBot yesterday. The Shanghai-based company, a pioneer in embodied intelligence, celebrated a major milestone yesterday: the official rollout of its 5,000th mass-produced humanoid robot. As the first company in Shanghai to achieve mass production of humanoid robots, AgiBot has seen shipments surge from 1,000 units in early 2025 to the current 5,000. Its robots are now deployed across eight key commercial applications — guided reception, entertainment performances, intelligent manufacturing, logistics sorting, security inspection, commercial cleaning, data-collection training, and scientific research.
