A MAJOR multimedia exhibition based on China Media Group’s (CMG) audio-visual reportage series “The Pioneers” opened Dec. 1 at the Yantian District Cultural Center. The exhibit runs through Jan. 31, 2026. Jointly organized by CMG and the China Association for Science and Technology and co-hosted by CMG’s News Center and Yantian District, the show translates a national-level voice archive into a large-scale experience. The project has recorded voice and image materials for 110 figures who have made distinguished contributions to the country, including some over 100 years old. The Yantian exhibition presents records for 36 of those figures, offering visitors a close, multimedia view of their life stories and contributions. Highlights include profiles of Ren Jizhou, celebrated for his lifelong dedication to the grasslands; surgeon Wu Mengchao, noted for his insistence that moral character is central to medical practice; and educator Yu Yi, who believes a teacher’s life continues through their students.(Lian Jiaqi) |
