ON Dec. 21, BayPort Hub opened at the GBA Industrial Investment Building in Bao’an District. The district's commerce bureau organized more than 40 local companies — including Insta360, Anker, EcoFlow, Buydeem, and Huion — to showcase over 200 products at the 1688 Shenzhen Official Product Selection Center operated by BayPort Hub. Featured items spanned 3C electronics, smart devices, and cultural-creative goods. An officially authorized partner of Alibaba’s 1688 platform, BayPort Hub also operates a center in Los Angeles and has strong connections across North America, creating a direct channel for Bao’an manufacturers to expand overseas. By integrating government support, industry resources, and overseas networks, the hub provides an international service platform that combines exhibition, product sourcing, buyer matching, and implementation, helping Chinese manufacturers pursue more stable, longer-term global growth. As a major district for industry, consumption, and investment in Shenzhen, Bao’an has witnessed a rapid growth in its foreign trade and cross‑border e‑commerce sectors in recent years. In 2024, the district’s total import and export volume topped 600 billion yuan, with cross‑border e‑commerce accounting for one-fifth of the city’s total. Leveraging hubs such as the airport, exhibition centers, and the Shenzhong Link, as well as strong 3C and smart-equipment industrial clusters, a comprehensive logistics and supply‑chain system, and superior transport links, Bao’an has become a fertile base for Chinese manufacturers to go global and for innovation in cross‑border e-commerce.(SD News) |
