THE Qianhai-Baozhong Business Area has been named to Winshang.com’s Top 30 World-class Business Areas with Great Potential list for the first time. Winshang is an influential retail and commercial industry media platform.

The ranking references renowned international shopping areas such as the Champs-Élysées, Fifth Avenue, Oxford Street, and Sydney CBD, and introduces a new quantitative evaluation model covering five dimensions — commercial prosperity, consumer concentration, accessibility and convenience, cultural-tourism integration, and service friendliness — with 32 core indicators.

Using this framework, the list identified 30 domestic business areas with the strongest potential for world‑class development across cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, and Hangzhou.

Key developments in the Qianhai-Baozhong area include the 360,000-square-meter Uniwalk Qianhai, the 120,000-square-meter coastal OH Bay, and Bao’an Maxland, underscoring the area’s emergence as one of Shenzhen’s most dynamic commercial hubs.(Cao Zhen)
