Protesters rally against US military attacks on Venezuela

People take part in a rally in New York City, the U.S., on Saturday against U.S. military attacks on Venezuela. The U.S. military launched a series of attacks against Venezuela early Saturday morning, capturing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, and flying them out of the country. Protests erupted in more than 100 cities across the U.S. to oppose the use of force to subvert the governments of other countries. China called on the U.S. to release Maduro and his wife at once, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said yesterday. Xinhua
