Shenzhen University of Information Technology in Longgang District was officially inaugurated Thursday. It evolves from the former Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology, which was founded in 2002. This establishment marks Shenzhen’s second public vocational undergraduate university, following the creation of Shenzhen Polytechnic University in 2023. In its initial phase, the new university will offer five vocational undergraduate programs: Software Engineering Technology, Modern Communication Engineering, Integrated Circuit Engineering Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and Embedded Technology
