Shenzhen opens first public skin disease hospital
    2026-01-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Shenzhen Dermatology Hospital, the city’s first public hospital dedicated to skin diseases, was inaugurated yesterday. Situated on Buxin Road in Luohu District, the 34,000-sqm facility has launched 13 specialized clinics addressing conditions ranging from acne and rosacea to hair disorders, allergic skin diseases, and psoriasis. The hospital aims to handle 600,000 outpatient visits annually by 2030 and will fully operationalize its 100 planned inpatient beds. Preliminary estimates suggest Shenzhen’s annual demand for dermatological diagnosis and treatment reaches as high as 3 million visits. The opening also aligns with Shenzhen’s broader vision to become a national hub for medical aesthetics
