A radome at Mohe station, China’s northernmost satellite data receiving site, in this photo released on Saturday. Mohe station, about 2 km west of Mohe City, Heilongjiang Province, officially began operation on Dec. 12, 2025. It is China’s highest‑latitude satellite data receiving station and features fully automated data reception. The station currently handles data downlinks for 25 national land‑observation satellites. Thanks to its unique high‑latitude location, it can increase daily reception time for polar‑orbit satellites by more than 20%, making it an important part of China’s terrestrial satellite receiving network.
