A scent of China drifts through New York
    2026-02-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A woman receives a piece of traditional Chinese sugar painting — a folk art created by pouring hot, molten sugar onto a stone slab to form intricate designs — at the “Flavors of China” Spring Festival cultural event in New York on Sunday. The event gathered over 400 Chinese and international guests to enjoy Chinese cuisine, watch intangible cultural heritage demonstrations, and welcome the upcoming Lunar New Year. The “Flavors of China” series will also travel to other U.S. cities including San Francisco and Portland.Xinhua
