AS the soul-stirring melody of “Bring Him Home” from “Les Misérables” fills the theater, audiences will be transported into the dramatic world of Victor Hugo’s masterpiece.

Alfie Boe, one of Britain’s finest tenors, will make his Shenzhen debut in late March at the Shenzhen Poly Theater in Nanshan District.

Effortlessly moving between opera, musical theater, and popular music, Boe has graced prestigious stages from London’s West End to Broadway and major concert halls worldwide. He is celebrated both for his operatic roles and for his acclaimed portrayal of Jean Valjean in the stage production of “Les Misérables.”

His credits include starring in the Broadway musical “Finding Neverland” and sharing a Tony Award with the cast of the revival of “La Bohème.” With a voice of remarkable passion and clarity, he has sold over a million albums in the U.K. alone.

For this special concert, Boe will be joined by musical theater actress Xu Lidong. An accomplished performer on the international stage, Xu combines profound vocal skill with compelling presence. Her roles have spanned internationally celebrated productions such as “Cats,” “Kinky Boots,” “Miss Saigon,” “Here Lies Love,” and “The Frogs,” along with leading parts in Chinese-language productions including “Jekyll & Hyde” and “Anna Karenina.”
