THE “Pohui” festival, a local folk event, is held each year in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, around the Spring Festival. Dressed in festive costumes, participants gather to pray for blessings, celebrate life and enjoy performances. The festival was inscribed on the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006.

In recent years, local authorities have promoted ethnic cultural resources to develop cultural tourism and support rural revitalization.(SD News)
