People watch two teams competing during the “First Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Drone Soccer League” at the Hong Kong Design Institute.

The inaugural tournament kicked off over the weekend, bringing together drone pilots from mainland cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai, as well as from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions. The event aims to foster deeper collaboration across the Greater Bay Area in technology education, talent exchange, and competitive innovation.
