The first direct air link between Shenzhen and a key Central Asian city opened yesterday as Uzbekistan Airways flight HY575 from Tashkent arrived at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport at 7:50 a.m., carrying nearly 200 passengers. The new service marks the carrier’s first passenger route in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and is also the first international passenger route launched at the Shenzhen airport this year. The route operates once a week. The outbound flight departs Shenzhen on Mondays at 9:10 a.m., arriving in Tashkent at 1:30 p.m., while the return flight leaves Tashkent on Sundays at 10:10 p.m. and lands in Shenzhen at 7:40 a.m. the following day
