
An aerial photo captures the construction site of the Jingkou Jialing River Bridge across the Jialing River, a critical component of a new high-speed railway linking Chengdu in southwest China’s Sichuan Province and its neighboring city Chongqing. The bridge was successfully joined yesterday, clearing a major hurdle for the official opening of the 292-kilometer line.
