Drones form images in the night sky over Chongqing, reenacting the legendary tale of “Yu the Great Taming the Flood.” The light show marks the first cross-industry collaboration between a cultural IP and cutting-edge technology, transforming the millennia-old legend into a series of compelling “aerial comic strips.”

The visuals are based on “The Call of the Stone,” a work by Chongqing picture book artist Liu Heyue, which draws from the well-known legend of “Yu the Great Taming the Flood.”
