APEC China 2026 Emblem

In December 2025, the 2026 APEC Informal Senior Officials’ Meeting was held in Shenzhen, where the emblem for the 2026 APEC “China Year” was unveiled.

Shenzhen, host city of the 2026 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, is known as the City of Peng — a legendary creature that transforms from a giant fish into a colossal bird soaring across the sky. The emblem’s design, featuring 21 seamlessly interwoven feathers, draws inspiration from this myth. Each feather is distinct, yet together they form the shape of Peng — riding the tide and soaring as one. This imagery vividly mirrors the spirit of APEC: 21 diverse yet interdependent member economies working together in cooperation.
