FOLLOWING the massive success of his “Segmenti I” world tour, internationally acclaimed classical crossover pianist Maksim Mrvica — widely known in China simply as Maksim — is bringing the upgraded “Segmenti II” back to China, opening the next chapter of his tour.

Hailed as the “piano legend who can play 16 notes in one second,” the “ultimate rival in Rhythm Master,” and the “pioneer of crossover fantasy,” Maksim is set to deliver an unforgettable performance.

For the Shenzhen leg of the tour, audiences will be treated to a one-of-a-kind immersive experience. The concert will feature a 360-degree surround stage, making Shenzhen the only city on the national tour to offer this unique setup. This exclusive stage design, coupled with the arena venue, serves as a special gift to local fans, allowing them to be immersed in the music from every angle.

The production value extends beyond the stage. Eight ultra-high-definition cameras will capture the pianist’s virtuosic fingerwork from multiple angles, projecting close-ups onto large screens to ensure that not a single note of his explosive technique is missed.

The concert will feature a mix of Maksim’s most beloved classics alongside challenging new repertoire. Fans can look forward to iconic pieces such as “Croatian Rhapsody,” “Exodus,” “Flight of the Bumblebee,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Adding to the excitement, Maksim will perform tracks from his new album, including the technically demanding “Prokofiev Fantasy” and “Tchaikovsky Fantasy.” As a special gesture for the Shenzhen audience, two surprise bonus tracks will be added exclusively to the setlist — a gift to be unveiled live.
