The 2026 Shenzhen Design Week is set to commence Monday at the Longgang International Art Center in Longgang District, featuring the award ceremony of the 2026 Kunpeng Global Design Award. A cornerstone of the event, this year’s Kunpeng award boasts a total prize pool of 4 million yuan (US$590,000) and has attracted 6,282 entries from 20 countries and regions — a growth of over 1,000 submissions compared to the previous year.
