WITH over 170 million YouTube views, the French ensemble Grissini Project has won fans by merging classical music with the excitement of anime, film, and gaming. Playing with only piano, violin, and cello, they turn concert halls into immersive worlds where listeners don’t just watch — they react. Now they return in 2026 with “Illusions Interwoven: A New Chapter of Light and Shadow” — a sonic journey designed to blur the lines between anime energy and classical depth. The program will include bold selections from “Undertale,” “Skyrim,” “Gladiator,” and “Schindler’s List,” followed by tender film themes such as “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” and “The Greatest Showman,” plus music from “Harry Potter.” The journey then expands to worlds like “Interstellar” and “The Lord of the Rings,” with pieces including “Libertango” and inspiration from “Game of Thrones.” To end the night on a joyful high, Grissini Project will perform three consecutive tracks from “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Known as “the classical music group that breaks boundaries,” Grissini Project proved their popularity during their 2025 China tour. Across nine cities, they sold more than 12,000 tickets, with fast sell-outs in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Wuhan. Founded in 2010 by Romain Vaudé (piano, organ), the group also features Florestan Raës (violin), Clara Germont (cello), Maja Samuelsson (lead vocal), and mixing engineer Aurélien Bourgois.
