Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport has launched China’s first “tap-and-refund” service, allowing international travelers to receive VAT rebates instantaneously. Departing visitors can simply tap their Visa cards on dedicated POS terminals at participating stores. The system automatically processes the refund at real-time exchange rates, crediting the cardholder’s account within seconds.
