The Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, a newly opened landmark cultural destination in Guangming District, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Prix Versailles awards as one of the world’s most beautiful museums for 2026. It is one of only seven exceptional institutions worldwide selected in this year’s museum category. Affectionately nicknamed the “Big Spaceship” by locals, the structure serves as both a premier exhibition venue and an immersive visual experience. Hosted at UNESCO, the Prix Versailles is an internationally recognized architectural award that celebrates projects harmonizing innovation, sustainability, and cultural identity.
