At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, U.S. President Donald Trump will pay a state visit to China from tomorrow to Friday, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced yesterday. The two heads of state will have an in-depth exchange of views on major issues concerning China-U.S. relations and world peace and development, according to a Xinhua report. Xi and Trump last met in person last October on the sidelines of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Busan, South Korea. The last U.S. presidential visit to China took place in November 2017, during Trump’s first term
