Once a long-reigning favorite on Shekou’s coffee charts, ffeeco has found a new home in Xiasha Village in Futian District, right next to Xiasha Cultural Plaza. Follow the alleyway until you spot its vintage blue-black storefront, nestled on the ground floor of a village house.

Step inside and you’re wrapped in soft, warm orange tones and gentle lighting — simple, neat, and impossibly cozy. Whether you want to flip through a book, pop in headphones, or simply stare into space, everything feels just right.

Every corner offers a small window waiting for you to sit beside it. Gaze outside, and time becomes wonderfully light and slow.

True to its name, both locations of Village Entrance Coffee hug the entrances of urban villages. The Bao’an spot sits in Liutang Village — a standalone white building that stands out among its neighbors. The Nanshan location, in Leigongling Village, appears just past the village archway, up a gentle slope on the ground floor.

Both branches feature warm natural wood and pure white walls, creating an airy, comfortable space. Each café is home to a resident cat, whom the owner jokingly calls the real “store manager.” Many guests come in and immediately look for the fluffy boss.

At only about 8 square meters, it’s packed with handmade treasures — like a cassette player on the wall, cobbled together from old phone parts, which actually sounds pretty decent. There are also movie memorabilia pieces worth a closer look.

Topping various rankings in Futian, Again Coffee Roaster began as Ross Coffee Mini Mart in Shangmeilin. The owner, known affectionately as “Master Long,” chose the name “Again” to summon the courage to chase his coffee dream once more.

The café embraces an American vintage industrial style — concrete walls mixed with wooden accents and playful little decorations. Small but comfortable, stepping through its residential-ground-floor door feels like entering another world, cut off from the chaos outside.
