
A chef competes in a sea urchin cooking contest at a hotel in Nan’ao, Dapeng New Area, on Wednesday, with visitors serving as judges. Chefs from 18 local restaurants presented 32 creative sea urchin dishes at the contest — a highlight of the 2026 Sea Urchin Season launched by the Nan’ao Subdistrict Office in March.
